The 58th RallyRACC will score towards the Spanish Rally Superchampionship

• 19, 20 and 21 October 2023 in Salou and Costa Daurada

Barcelona, 7 February 2023 - The 58th RallyRACC Catalunya–COSTA DAURADA is included this season in the Spanish Rally Superchampionship (S-CER), of which it will be the 8th of the 9 qualifying rounds. The RallyRACC will continue to have its organisational base on the Costa Daurada, with Salou and PortAventura World as the epicentres of the event.

The 58th RallyRACC Catalunya–COSTA DAURADA will be held between 19 and 21 October and will be contested entirely on gravel. Although this special feature is a novelty in the context of the last two editions, it is important to remember that between 2010 and 2019 the rally had a mixed itinerary, with special stages on gravel and asphalt. The gravel special stages of those editions were highly appreciated by drivers and teams, which will be of great help for the design of this season's itinerary.

Created in 2019 by the RFEdA, the Spanish Rally Superchampionship is the first mixed event of this scale to be held in our country, bringing together competitions on both surfaces in its calendar. Due to its priority character, the main drivers and teams of the country take part in this championship. In addition, the 58th RallyRACC will also count towards the Catalan Rally Championship and the Volant RACC-Trofeu Mavisa, while on a Spanish level it will count towards the Peugeot Rally Cup Ibérica, the Beca RTS Júnior and the new Clio Trophy Spain Tierra.

With its scoring for the Spanish and Catalan championships, the RallyRACC Catalunya–COSTA DAURADA makes possible an aspiration long awaited by drivers and teams, as the last time the race was valid for the Spanish championship was in 2000 and for the Catalan one in 1998.
