I’d you are talking about the dark stripe on the anal fin running into the causal fin (also on top) that’s normal.

Otherwise I’d expect what you describe to be a bite or tear that’s healing over.

Eating poop is normal for fish…they are weird.
Keep an eye on the firefish, white stringy poop doesn’t always mean parasites but that is a possibility especially without qt and preemptively medicating for it. Have a dewormer like levamisole hcl (fritz expel-p) ready in case. Is the firefish eating?
Keep an eye on it and the clown - if aggression gets worse you may have to rehome.
The fin could likely be due to stress or an attack healing.
