firefish with see through fin?

on its tail fin, on the bottom, theres a small piece of fin thats see through. Is that a sign of anything?

I’d you are talking about the dark stripe on the anal fin running into the causal fin (also on top) that’s normal.

Otherwise I’d expect what you describe to be a bite or tear that’s healing over.

I have never had anything happen personally I had a fire fish for about 2 years and he was fine (had to sell due to moving)

there was no bite or tear. Its a square like piece of see through anal fin, around the tail fin

I did see the clown eating his poop

He is the new addition, came in the mid winter recess

The firefishes poop is stringy and whitish

Also the area that's clear is where the bottom anal fin meets the caudal fin

The clown also shoves him around sometimes.

Eating poop is normal for fish…they are weird.
Keep an eye on the firefish, white stringy poop doesn’t always mean parasites but that is a possibility especially without qt and preemptively medicating for it. Have a dewormer like levamisole hcl (fritz expel-p) ready in case. Is the firefish eating?
Keep an eye on it and the clown - if aggression gets worse you may have to rehome.
The fin could likely be due to stress or an attack healing.

The firefish does eat, not that much, but that was always the case.

I guess I'll just observe. If it worsens, I'll return the fish. I guess I'll need to have a clownfish pair
