Got this hammer with a tank quite a while ago. Finally got a coral view lense so i figured I'd ask you experts about what you think it is. No LFs for 150 miles for me, so you all are the closest i got [emoji23]

I would say it's a yellow hammer. I have one very similar and intense lighting will improve the quality of the yellow. However, the only "gold" euphyllia, in my opinion, is the Aussie Golden torch. I've never seen any other euphyllia quite that color.

Alright. So if i were to go and sell frags of it, which im looking to do, how much should i ask? I know its not easy to just pull out a price, but what would you consider to be a fair price for a website to ask for something like that? And are yellow hammers fairly common or no?

50-60/head I would say. I have a highlighter yellow hammer that I paid 60 a head for.

Depends on how true the "yellow" is. 99% of the time it's just an annoyed green. If it holds it's yellow under whiter lighting, not just deep blues, you can charge whatever you want. I've seen quality ones go for $500+ a head from high end vendors. For us, it could be up to $300/head if you have immaculate pictures, and a bit of a following.

To be fair, this is one of those highly specific pieces that's very hard to judge. It would probably have to be seen in person.

But if it were like, a MUSTARD yellow... You can ask almost anything. If it's a run of the mill "Gold" hammer that looks yellow/gold under blues, then $60-125 a head. Gold hammers have gotten less common.

First pic is 100% blue, the other two are 100% whites. I'm from Montana where everyone here(with very few exceptions) cant tell a hammer from a duncan. So ANY and ALL opinions would be amazing from you guys

In the whites there is a lot of green coming through, in the blue I see purple coming through. But I do like the color. I would buy a frag if I was close.

Its more unique than the average hammer and I havent seen one quite like that before. Maybe anywhere from $50-80 a head? I could be totally wrong though haha.

I agree it looks like it has some purple.

OP, you should try one more time later to get pictures with all the lights in the room off so we can see the color unobstructed.

Right now in so cal, where ALL coral is cheap, aussie gold hammers go for a premium. Like $100/head. That one is probably upto and in that price range, depending on local market. Maybe in your neck of the woods it's a $50 piece, around here, in the current climate, It would be an easy $75, and probably a fair $90/100.

Yours is definitely more green. This is a Gold Hammer (bottom left).
Turns almost clear (weak lemonade color) in more white lights.
More blues is where the gold shines.
But your is very nice.

Thank you [emoji4] that sounds very similar to what mine does under those lights. Its frustrating because it doesnt look exactly the same in the pics as it does in person. I'd agree though, it doesnt look exact same as yours. What would you recommend i ask for it at first? Or label it as?
