Nice looking Cyphastre!

I got a frag of this branching Cyphastrea from a local reefer, the frag is still brown out can not wait it to color up.

Fantastic piece! I picked up a frag last month at a local fish show and love it. The one I picked up is labeled as a Limited Edition - Tyree Purple Green Eyes Cyphastrea japonica

Wow Tyree Purple Green Eyes Cyphastrea japonica is amazing! Hope cageburn's one will get same meaty as the picture in reeffarmers.

I don't if it is only me, Cyphastrea seems very sensitive any change of location will brown it out and take long time to get color back.

That is one nice branching Cyphastrea:).

I agree on them taking their time coloring back up after losing it. I think I've found where mine want to be now...

The purple and green is nice, too. The polyp structure is odd, though. Mine have raised, star like corallites. Are you sure it's Cyphastrea? Nice colors, nonetheless.

I have SniperSPS' Purple and Green Cyphastrea and another that is very similar (from a guy in Chattanooga), but the growth form is slightly different (side by side in tank, but starting to look more alike). Gotta love these guys.
