Pteroeides breviradiatum Kölliker, 1869

Apart from the first description there is very little information available about this sea feather.

In order to be able to hold itself upright in an outstretched state, depending on the existing current, calcareous needles can be seen in the body of the sea feather.

The photo of the sea feather was taken in less than 10 meters depth (pers. communication of the photographer).
