Natural History: The Whip-fin Fairy Wrasse is generally found in groups of juveniles and females with a male on hard-bottom reef areas with strong current. The males often display for females or even other males.
Husbandry: Whip-fin Fairy Wrasses should not be put in a community tank with other planktivores such as dottybacks or anthias/pseudanthias. They are peaceful and may be picked on by other more aggressive fairy wrasses. They usually quickly acclimate and readily feed on nearly any aquarium fare.
