The Bartlett’s Anthias is one of the less demanding of the Anthias, and should be kept in small groups consisting of 1 male and 2-3 females. As with most Anthias kept in aquariums, the Bartlett’s Anthias will look their best when the tank has a lot of cliffs and overhangs, mimicking their natural environment. Offer frozen Mysis shrimp, Ocean Nutrition Prime Reef (Frozen), and other small meat based foods. |
Maximum Size: the Pseudanthias bartlettorum grows up to 4 inches. Minimum Tank Size: The Bartlett’s Anthias prefers a tank of at least 80 gallons with plenty of places to hide & swim. Diet: The Pseudanthias bartlettorum is a planktivore and likes to eat mysid shrimp, amphipods and other macroscopic life. Level of Care: The Bartlett’s Anthias is a medium maintenance fish. Behavior: The Bartlett’s Anthias may act peacefully toward other fish. Water Conditions: Keep water quality high (SG 1.020 – 1.025, pH 8.1 – 8.4, Temp. 72 – 78 F). Range: Marshall Islands. |
