Hesnechel DH 4000 overview
Henschel DH 4000 (that got number V320.001 and later class 232 by Deutsche Bahn) was with its 2x1600HP, later 2x1900HP engines) the biggest and most powerful German diesel locomotive.
It was projected in late 50s, finished in 1962, but DB decided to electrify most of the lines, for which this locomotive was planned, so the concept of fast express diesel train became obsolete.
Only one was made - V320.001, that was in 1975 changed to purely freight locomotive and later leased by various private companies up to 2015.
This model contains Z scale body of Henschel DH 4000 (V320 DB) locomotive.
