The artist dealt with her own early body feeling, which led her into the organic anatomy and the microcosm. In this picture we also see fragments of organic body parts,… which transform into dynamic brush marks. Here the principle of the dissolution and reconstruction of individual components of life is reproduced in its most archaic form. Through the formal implementation of doubt and criticism of artistic creation, the artist asserts the affiliation of this ancient form of expression to the human.

Eva Galonska is a German abstract expressionist painter and a MA graduate from the University of the Arts in Berlin. Motivated by the work of artists like Münter, Macke and Kandinsky, Galonska is inspired by nature, technology and philosophy among other fields of study. Her works are bright, colorful images that attempt to bridge the gap between our conscious and sub-conscious realities.
