Peter Fox is an unusual musician, in that he has been able to juggle a career as a member of the german reggae and dancehall band Seeed, and was also pursuing his solo career somewhat successfully. Although he has now dropped his solo career due to stress, he won many awards, and collaborated with big names during his time performing solo.
Recently when I saw him Seeed in concert, I was pleasantly surprised that he played a couple of his own tracks with the other band memebers accompanying him. It was a great touch to the show, and the reggae/hip hop style of his own music blends perfectly with the vibe of Seeed. Fox’s talents on the guitar also played a big part in the show, playing lead, and also hopping off to jump on the piano at points too. Seeing a multi-instrumentalist of Fox’s calibre perform live is something really special.
Although the band have been around quite some years now, they’re not growing tired at all, if anything they’re getting stronger and better with age. I has the most fun, dancing and singing along, and really recommend the gig. Go and see them live whilst you still have the chance!
