What is the Swell Midas Blenny?

Named for its radiant golden colour, the Midas Blenny is a very sought after marine fish, mostly due to its relatively peaceful nature and its beginner-friendly care requirements. This blenny is fascinating to watch navigating its tank as it reflects a very eel-like manner when it swims, and they can be frequently found hiding between rocks or even perching on them. Midas Blenny are vibrantly coloured, meaning they will be a bold stand-out fish in your marine aquarium. They have bright blue eyes and a long slender body which is what makes them so unique. Midas Blennies have a very distinguishable personality, and when first introduced into a new tank they may be a little shy but will become more familiar with their aquarium and grow into their inquisitive nature, and with a larger than required tank size, will be social with other tank mates.

How are these fish delivered to you?

The delivery time for your fish will be two working days if ordered before 2pm Monday - Thursday, and if you ordered after 2pm on a Thursday until Sunday then they should arrive with you by Tuesday. They will arrive in a polystyrene box and be bagged with oxygen which will allow them to stay packaged for up to 48 hours, if they are ordered during winter they will also come with heat pads for warmth. There is a one off £30 delivery charge regardless of how many fish you buy per order.
