Back to School Student Bioglyphs Digital Get to Know You Activity

Maybe you do or don't remember creating bioglyphs when you were in school, but this time, we're going digital for the 21st century! This is a great back to school/first day of school activity, and even better, with computers, you'll have your students hooked! Included is a Google Slides version with the symbols all ready for your students to copy and paste/drag/enlarge, etc...for a user friendly experience. If you'd like to print these out, simply save as a PDF, or print directly from your computer! These look awesome too posted outside your room if you want to go with the print version! This would also be fun to do when learning about ancient Egypt and hieroglyphics.

This is recommended for grades 4th-8th. Students will need to have somewhat of a basic knowledge of how to either copy/paste or drag, then enlarge images. Once students have a general knowledge of how to do this, this activity is really minimal work if going the virtual route, and very fun and unique.
