The track I'll be opening my next DJ set with
Wankelmut & Emma Louise: My Head Is A Jungle (MK remix)
It's one of those tracks that people instantly feel and instantly love. It's got an anthem vibe – maybe people relate to it somehow, especially after a heavy weekend. I remix tracks I love and make them my own for my sets – that's pretty much all I play out, so I may sound slightly biased!
The track I always play to rescue a dancefloor
Jodeci: Freek'n You (MK dub)
It never fails. There was always something infectious about that track: it seems timeless, and perks everyone up.
The track that currently gets the most rewinds
Sam Smith: Money On My Mind (MK remix)
A growing favourite: the crowd just want to hear it over and over.
The track I think has been unfairly slept on this year
Sky Ferreira: Everything Is Embarrassing (MK remix)
Every time I play that record, it makes me happy and it seems to have the same effect on the crowd – it's so uplifting.
The track I'd play to show off my eclectic tastes
Rhye: Open (MK remix)
A record that I love the style of; Michael Milosh is a great vocalist. This, or my new remix of London Grammar's Hey Now – a little more in the alternative vein.
The track that got me out of bed this morning
The new remix I'm working on for Nile Rodgers's charity, which will be coming out at International Music Summit 2014.
The ideal festival track
Storm Queen: Look Right Through (MK remix)
It has become something of an anthem, it gets everyone together. Damn, I wish I had that on my label.
The track I'd play at my auntie's wedding
MK: Always (Route 94 remix)
I don't know that I have an auntie that's planning a wedding, but it would be this. Route 94 nailed that remix so perfectly – I couldn't have done a better job.
The best track by my favourite new artist
That changes every week, and if I tell you I can't sign it and I'd have to kill you.
The track I'd play at sunset in Ibiza
Pleasure State: Ghost In The System
This is Lee Foss, myself and Anabel Englund – we're debuting at We Are FSTVL in May.
The track I'd play at my funeral
I really haven't thought about that, my life is just beginning… unless you know something I don't.
