Franz Ferdinand's Alex Kapranos has confirmed that the indie rockers will be returning soon with fresh material.
The details are non-existent at this point, and 'soon' is a bit vague, but it looks like it's all coming together sooner rather than later.

When they return it will be without longtime guitarist Nick McCarthy who departed last summer and recently released an album with wife Manuela Gernedel.
Franz Ferdinand's latest album Right Thoughts, Right Words, Right Action was released in 2013. The band teamed up with glam veterans Sparks for last year's FFS project.
Last autumn Franz Ferdinand released their first material following McCarthy's departure. Check it out.
