Although initially a little timid, the Red Rainbowfish will soon become an active and peaceful member of a community aquarium. Provide open swimming spaces, plenty of vegetated areas and a varied diet. Males are significantly different to females and will develop a very high-backed body shape. A colourful, hardy shoaling fish and an excellent addition to a peaceful community of medium sized fish.
