Several fans discovered that Lesnar’s face was removed from WWE’s “Then, Now, Forever” package on Sunday. Lesnar finds himself in the wrong end of the company after his name was implicated in a bombshell lawsuit filed by former WWE employee. Ever since, WWE has slowly started to remove Lesnar from all facets of WWE programming.
Reports suggest that Lesnar was set to make a return at this year’s Royal Rumble, following which WWE were planning to line-up matches for “The Beast Incarnate” at the Elimination Chamber and WrestleMania XL. However, with the allegations made against the superstar it is unlikely to see Lesnar make an appearance in WWE anytime sooner.
Apart from this Lesnar has also been removed from the mobile game WWE SuperCard, and is speculated to be snubbed from the Forty Years of WrestleMania edition of WWE 2K24.
What is the lawsuit involving Brock Lesnar
Janel Grant, a former WWE employee, filed a lawsuit against the former WWE chairman Vince McMahon, accusing him of sexual assault and trafficking. Following the development, McMahon resigned from his position at WWE and parent company the TKO group.
Grant alleged that the former WWE chairman pressured her into sexual situations and constantly degraded her in exchange for appointing her as administrator-coordinator in WWE’s legal department, following their meeting in 2019.
The lawsuit also mentioned that McMahon asked Grant to “create personalized sexual content for a WWE superstar that he was trying to re-sign." Although no names were taken but it had details, which led many believing that the superstar is none other than Brock Lesnar. The suit described the superstar as “a UFC fighter and WWE talent.”
Grant also alleged that after Lesnar penned a new contract with WWE, McMahon texted her “that part of the deal was f—ing U.”
As per Grant McMahon also gave Lesnar her cellphone number, following which the WWE star asked to send him a video of her urinating. Lesnar allegedly told Grant to “set a play date” in December 2021, which was canceled due to a snowstorm.
The lawsuit also mentions former WWE head of talent relations John Laurinaitis as defendant. A copy of the lawsuit is in possession with Sports Now.
