Participle of German verb regnen

The participles of regnen (rain) are: regnend, geregnet. For participle I, the ending -end (suffix) is added to the base regn (verb stem). To form the past participle, the regular ending -et (suffix) is added to the base regn. The extension is extended by a -e because the stem ends on -n.
