Mahne Frame Returns with Fierce New Single and Video "slep"

Mahne Frame has shared new single “slep” via his new label 21 N FUN. The new single and video are the latest addition to Mahne Frame’s growing body of recommended work, which also includes EP MAD WORLD and his debut EP KISS MY ASS, DEATH.

We first became familiar with Mahne via his drumming alongside WMF fave Kirin J Callinan, but swiftly also became exceptionally enthusiastic fans of Mahne’s own work. In fact, Mahne belongs to a small group of artists that we have regularly found ourselves compelled to speak about and share with friends and colleagues, both on and off the record.

Given that, it’s no surprise that Mahne’s new single “slep” is a welcome arrival in our world this year, and will certainly feel right at home in our playlists (both officially and unofficial) in the coming months. To commemorate the release, Mahne graciously sent us a few new exclusive photos, and also forwarded these insights about his latest single:

“slep is a misspelling of sleep/slept due to not getting enough. The track is about the irony of washing away sins. I’m attracted to dark, dry humour because it helps me process things.

Featured alongside the single is B-side, “slep expansion pack”. “slep expansion pack” is co-written with producer Phanosland, and —as its title suggests— “serves as an ‘expansion pack’ that can be added onto 'slep' by playing them back to back without space.”
