<strong>Adyton</strong> are proud to introduce<br />

their revolutionary new<br />

X3 and X2 loudspeakers to<br />

the world. Manufactured in<br />

Denmark and designed in Britain by<br />

Russell P. Kauffmann, the Eben X3<br />

and X2 project bring together the<br />

combined knowledge of two great<br />

<strong>Hi</strong> <strong>Fi</strong> manufacturing traditions.<br />

The X3 and X2 loudspeaker uses the<br />

most mechanically stable Danish<br />

cabinet construction in the world.<br />

The cabinet is divided into five<br />

separate chambers.<br />

The Eben X3 employs 4 specially<br />

designed 5.5 inch high speed, low<br />

mass woofers with a very wide<br />

dynamic range.<br />

Eben X2 employs 4.5 inch woofers.<br />

In order to minimize distortion and<br />

phase shifts, and increase the dynamic<br />

range the woofers do not use an<br />

electronic cross over. Instead a<br />

proprietary tuned chamber design is<br />

used to tune the woofers.<br />

The design concept uses in the X3<br />

and X2 eliminates standing waves and<br />

uses a highly modified ported reflex<br />

design. The port is machined from a<br />

high grade aluminium which controls<br />

resonance's.<br />

The X3 and X2 uses a specially<br />

developed low compression low<br />

distortion tweeter sealed in its own<br />

chamber The tweeter uses a proprietary<br />

2nd order cross-over featuring Jensen<br />

capacitors, coils and non inductive<br />

resistors.

Each X3 and X2 is internally wired with<br />

Nordost monofilament cables.<br />

The bottom plinth of the X3 loudspeaker<br />

is machined from solid piece of high<br />

grade aluminium and is double<br />

decoupled from the floor using seven<br />

Nordost Pulsar Points.<br />

The Eben X3 and X2 uses a dual set of<br />

gold plated five way binding posts which<br />

allow the speakers to be BI-wired or<br />

BI-amped.<br />
