Welcome!

“Twenty years from now, you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than those you did. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from safe harbor. Catch the wind in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.”
― Mark Twain

In 2021, seizing the moment to live adventures is not an easy task. However this is what we have done, and we invite you to join us.

Antipodis navigates through uncharted waters, finding her way through this beautiful world, on a quest for discovery, life’s simple pleasures, and good company.

Over the last years, from Turkey, Croatia and Italy to France and Spain, we’ve visited the beautiful bays and islands of the Mediterranean, being pushed by the wind across short and long crossings of these legendary seas.

We’ve discovered rich and varied local cultures, foods, landscapes and peoples.

This year, with Antipodis, we have started to share this lifestyle with a few like-minded travellers who share our values, our love for the sea and of discovery.

Aurore is from the far end of Brittany in the west of France. This means that salt water runs through her veins (as well as cider).

She’s also passionate about creating unique and personalised experiences, studied at the well known Ecole Hôtelière de Quimper and has managed restaurants and luxury resorts.
Aurore is qualified in sea survival and ensures the safety of the crew as well as their enjoyment.

Daniel is a Kiwi from New Zealand and has never lived far from the sea.. except for a lost decade spent in Paris working on digital transformation for multi-nationals.

Daniel speaks French and English and is the qualified and experienced skipper of Antipodis.

The Yacht

Antipodis is a modern and comfortable Lagoon 400. She has a large living spaces inside and outside, with room on the foredeck and roof to relax.

Each of the four cabins has its own bathroom with shower and toilet, towels and sheets and environmentally friendly soaps and care products.

We sail whenever we can, and use the two diesel engines as little as possible. The electrical needs of the yacht are met with an array of solar panels.

Join the Crew!

We love sharing our passion for life on the water with others and creating memorable experiences for all of those who join us on board.

Throughout most of our trip, three double cabins are available (six adults) for adventurous travellers wanting to participate in the journey. We love having people on board who enjoy getting off the beaten track, sharing moments of sailing in a unique context, but who also know how to appreciate relaxing sunsets in deserted bays.

We take care of everything, including three healthy and fresh meals per day, where possible based on locally-sourced ingredients, drinks, snacks.

No experience at sea is necessary, but everyone is welcome and encouraged to take the helm, hoist the sails and to help set the anchor!

If you are interested in joining us for a leg of the journey, don’t hesitate to get in touch at contact@antipodis.com

Our Route

In 2O21 Antipodis will be sailing the Mediterranean from east to west in several stages and we are inviting a maximum of six people to join us for each one.
