ADIDAS SKATEBOARDING X KADER SYLLA

adidas Skateboarding has a team consisting of some of the biggest names in field, including Tyshawn Jones, Mark Gonzales, Blondey McCoy, and Jason Dill, among others, all of which have modified one of the three-stripe company’s iconic models. Now, it’s 19-year-old pro skateboarder Kader Sylla’s turn.

By joining the group, Sylla chose to rework the Superstar ADV silhouette. “Having my name on an adidas shoe is crazy and something I’ll still be proud of 50 years from now. I hope people are happy wearing my shoes and I hope kids are inspired to know what is possible through skateboarding,” he commented on the collaboration. “I’m so excited and thankful to join the adidas Skateboarding team. It’s surreal to have the opportunity to travel the world with all of my friends and skate alongside people I look up to. It inspires me to be the best skateboarder I can be.”

Coming in black, the Superstar ADV by Kader Sylla is made from premium tumbled leather and features gold-tone accents of the skateboarder’s first name alongside adidas’ quintessential three stripes. On each side, two out of three stripes were  trimmed with tonal pony hair, and so was the shoe’s heel tab.
