Zack Segel is a musician, actor, writer, and producer based in New York City. He produced and starred in the indie feature film Datsche, which played at a dozen festivals around the world and was released in theatres across Germany in the fall of 2019. Other recent on-screen acting credits include East New York on CBS and the indie comedy VHYES.

Zack worked closely with Obie-award-winning playwright Young Jean Lee to develop the script of Straight White Men, which ran at the Public Theater and on Broadway, and he’s performed onstage at BAM, the New Group, Ars Nova, and La MaMa E.T.C., among other venues in New York. He plays drums in the Pow Pow Family Band and composes music for film.
