M&K FILZE

The company was established in 1861 by Messrs Moll and Kühn as a hat maker in Schwabach, near Nuremberg, developing over the decades into the ‘Moll & Kühn’sche Filzfabrik’, a specialist felting factory with worldwide business partners supplying classic wool and needle felting. The development of this business sector through the efficient and innovative production of mainly technical wool and needle felting were undertaken by the successor company, Filzfabrik Schwabach GmbH, from 1989 onwards. A modern production facility was constructed and put into operation in Spalt, Bavaria in 2003 in order to manage the strong growth of recent years and satisfy the increased requirements of the customers. At the same time the company emerged with a new name and a new corporate identity as M&K Filze GmbH. Our tradition is innovation. M&K has always succeeded in filling market niches and developing high quality products in cooperation with their customers. Lean flexible structures, supported by a highly motivated team, allow the company to present a wide-ranging programme that satisfies the most demanding requirements whilst always guaranteeing individuality.
