Deutsch: Eine Litfaßsäule (Anschlagsäule, Plakatsäule) in Auxerre, Frankreich. Die an Gehwegen und Straßen für Plakate zur Werbung aufgestellten Säulen wurde von Ernst Litfaß erfunden und im Jahre 1854 erstmals aufgestellt.
English: An advertising pillar (billboard pillar) in Auxerre, France. The pillars erected on sidewalks and streets for advertising posters were invented by Ernst Litfaß and erected for the first time in 1854.
