Leipziger Frühjahrsmesse 1982 Français : Détail plaque constructeur sur le prototype 212.001 (future 243 en production, puis 143 après réunification allemande), exposé à la foire de printemps Leipzig 82.
On y lit:
Le site d'Hennigsdorf, au nord-ouest de Berlin, voit le jour en 1910 sous l'impulsion d'AEG. Inclu après la 2nde guerre mondiale en zone d'occupation soviétique et devenu LEW, il se spécialise dans la production de locomotives électriques pour le nouveau régime. Au lendemain de la réunification, 80 ans après ses débuts, l'usine retourne brièvement dans le giron de son créateur avant de passer sous celui d'ADtranz (coentreprise Daimler Benz-ABB), puis Bombardier au début du 21e s. L'assemblage de locomotives est alors rapatrié sur Kassel. La 212-243 n'est pas la dernière locomotive produite à LEW Hennigsdorf. Il s'agit de la 252, devenue 156 après 1992. |
