Description
Deutsch: Laut dem aus Toronto angereisten Kantor Benjamin Z. Maissner, der in Hannover im Rahmen der Herbsttage der Jüdischen Musik sowohl in der Villa Seligmann als auch am 9. November 2013 als Solist in der Marktkirche beim Konzert zum Gedenken an die Reichspogromnacht vor 75 Jahren aufgetreten war, zeigen sich hier vor dem (heutigen) Gebäude Lange Laube 1 den Fotografen "Vier Generationen", davon zwei nur noch auf Stolpersteinen:

„Hier wohnte Bernhard Maissner, Jg. 1877, 'Polenaktion' 1939, ermordet im besetzten Polen.“

„Hier wohnte Isaac Maissner, Jg. 1905, Flucht 1934, Palästina, überlebt.“

Benjamin Z. Maissner (links im Bild), heute unter anderem Musikdirektor im Holy Blossom Temple in Toronto, war der Neffe von Israel Alter, des letzten Oberkantors von Hannover, und ist der Vater von Tal Maissner (rechts im Bild) ...
