Description
Deutsch: Gedenkstein für Siegfried Apportin (* 30. November 1930; † 2. Juli 1950). Der Wachtmeister der Volkspolizei war der erste Grenzschützer der DDR, der von einem "Deserteur" der Grenztruppen, Leo Knöpke, erschossen wurde. Näheres u. a. im Spiegel Der Gedenkstein wurde mehrfach versetzt; er befindet sich nun (2013) am ehemaligen Kolonnenweg zwischen Lübeck (Schleswig-Holstein) und Palingen (Mecklenburg) auf Mecklenburger Seite, östlich der Wesloer Tannen, südlich der B 105.
