Summary[edit]

Description
English: A manuscript from The German Ideology with Marx's handwriting and Engels' doodles, c. 1845-1846.
At the time of its first discovery, it was initially speculated being a page from the chapter "I. Feuerbach" (c. IX.1845-X.1846); hence it's still under that bundle in the archive. However, later it was found out that, in fact, it was a page from the chapter "Sankt Bruno" (XII.1845-IV. 1846).
Recent scholarship thinks that The German Ideology, which was never published in the lifetime of Marx, in fact wasn't planned as a "book", but a series of journal issues with different topics, all makes it what is known today as The German Ideology.
