| Description |
Deutsch: Der Acrylglaskubus war randvoll mit getrockneten Sojabohnen gefüllt. Die trockenen Bohnen hatten typische Durchmesser von 5 bis 7 mm. 10 zufällig ausgewählte Bohnen brachten zusammen 1,2 Gramm auf die Waage. Das Gefäß wurde dann randvoll mit lauwarmem Leitungswasser gefüllt und oben mit einem nur aufgelegten Deckel abgeschlossen. Auf den Deckel wurde ein 1000-Gramm-Gewicht gelegt. Das Photo entstand drei Tage nach Versuchsbeginn. Die gequollenen Bohnen hatten typische Durchmesser von 6 bis 10 mm. 10 zufällig ausgewählte Bohnen wogen zusammen 2 Gramm.
