Description
English: Photo taken at the Lofoten War Memorial Museum (Norwegian: Lofoten Krigsminnemuseum) in Svolvær, Norway's largest exhibition of uniforms and smaller items related to the Second World War and the German occupation of Norway 1940 – 1945:
  • Mannequin dressed in a Waffen-SS uniform winter suit (Winteranzug, Winterausrüstung) and equipped as a German WWII soldier serving on the North front (Nordfront):
    • White snow camouflage cold weather smock, jacket, parka (hooded, padded coat) and trousers in a two-piece coverall oversuit
    • White/grey-washed German steel helmet (Stahlhelm) with chin-strap, air vents and helmet decal on right side with SS bolts/runes (doppelte Siegrunen)
  • Misc. exhibits and museum interior in the backgroud:
    • Uniforms, stuffed animals, German motorcycle, etc.
