Description
English: White storks (Ciconia ciconia) from Central Europe bypass the Alps and the Mediterranean on their way to their African wintering grounds. Western migrants and eastern migrants are separated by a kind of border at the place of birth: the migratory divide.
Deutsch: Weißstörche (Ciconia ciconia) aus Mitteleuropa umgehen die Alpen sowie das Mittelmeer auf dem Weg in das afrikanische Winterquartier. Westzieher und Ostzieher trennt am Geburtsort eine Art Grenze: die Zugscheide.
