2007-08 Season
Having been a consistent performer for the Big Red in his first two years, Doppelt emerged as the number one singles player last spring season, using his huge serve and powerful forehand to play against some of the country’s best players. He also compiled a 3-8 record playing doubles. In the fall, Doppelt won two crucial matches at the ECAC championships over St. Joe’s and Boston College. He was seeded No. 19 at the Northeast Regionals in singles and No. 7 in doubles with Weston Nichols. He had an 8-5 singles and 5-4 doubles record in the fall, with other highlights including being a finalist at the Cornell Fall Outdoor Invitational and advancing to the finals of consolation singles at the Princeton Invitational.
