The safety of our employees is important to us and has absolute priority. We are very happy to be able to rely on the same safety valve as BrandSafway. It ensures that every employee returns home safe and sound to their loved ones in the evening. #ValueEveryVoice #SafetyWeek2024 https://lnkd.in/eHdsyErZ
At BrandSafway, each and every team member has the right and authority to stop an activity or action that may be or is unsafe or puts others or the environment at risk, without the fear of retaliation or reprisal. When a team member stops a job, a manager is notified and work can only resume once the safety concern has been investigated and resolved. Empowering team members to stop a job in the name of safety is just one way we work to prevent incidents and accidents. #ValueEveryVoice #SafetyWeek2024 #NeverCompromiseOnSafety #AtWorkForYou

Today, our team members around the world join together to observe Safety Week 2024. Safety is our top priority and foremost value – and all week, we’ll be sharing with our teams why safety is critically important and how every voice matters. Whether you work in an office or on a platform hundreds of feet in the air, we care about your safety! In the spirit of collaboration and advancing the industry forward, we will share our Safety Week topics all week long. We hope that by sharing, we can help keep safety top of mind. Today’s topic: Find Your Why What’s your motivation to work safely? For some of us, it’s so we can enjoy our hobbies, relationships with friends and families and to feel our best every day. We invited team members to participate in an art contest to show what safe at work means to them. We appreciate all of the creative entries! #ValueEveryVoice #SafetyWeek2024 #NeverCompromiseOnSafety #AtWorkForYou

MSS stands for "Movable Scaffolding System" and the name says it all: Designed for span-by-span cast in-situ bridges and viaducts, @Strukturas MSS’s can be moved efficiently and safely. 🌉 Using MSS allows the existing highways and railways to remain open throughout most of construction or demolition period. It is also a safe bridge building system that protects the workers. The MSS is available in both underslung and overhead versions, so that work can be carried out above as well as below the bridge. Hünnebeck uses both versions for the construction and demolition of road and railway bridges. The systems are ideal for concreting entire spans in-situ. ✅An overhead MSS has the advantage that it can be installed behind the abutments, close to the ground. ✅Underslung MSS provides space for rebar installation and allows the tower crane to be placed on the MSS to replace mobile cranes for installation work. 🏗 #moresafety #moreproductivity #AtWorkForYou #Hünnebeck

30th anniversary of Hünnebeck Poland Three decades of partnership, passion and trust Infrastructure facilities are almost always a considerable challenge. It was no different in the case of the construction of the Kock and Wola Skromowska Bypass within the S19 road, implemented by STRABAG Polska Sp. z o.o. between 2009 and 2012. As part of this project, we designed and supplied formwork for the erection of six viaducts and two bridges. The support scaffolding under the viaducts was made from EUROPLUSnew props and ID15new, and the superstructures were made using the SG system. The real challenge was the 200-metre bridge 🌉 over the River Wieprz. For its implementation, we designed three different solutions, working in different sections of the bridge. As with the viaducts, support scaffolding consisting of ID15new towers with the SG system was ideal. Part of the structure was also erected using the INFRA-KIT system. Another interesting feature: Steel girder scaffolding from the H33 system - a modular system well suited to long-span bridge construction - was used to support the section of the bridge crossing the river. The H33 girders rested on HEB400 beams supported on load-bearing frame props. The PROTECTO® system took care of edge protection. #moresafety #moreproductivity #AtWorkForYou #Hünnebeck

The renewal of the 50-year-old Tiefenbachtal bridge near Daxweiler was another project to which we contributed our expertise - #ThrowbackThursday. When constructing the almost 370 m long superstructure, the contractor Heitkamp Industrial Solutions GmbH relied on the parapet carriage developed by #Hünnebeck. #moresafety #moreproductivity #AtWorkForYou #Hünnebeck

30th anniversary of Hünnebeck Poland. Three decades of partnership 🤝, passion ❤️ and trust. Sometimes they rise to the sky, often they work in the ground for foundations or tunnels , and usually they help buildings to grow. But there are times when our formwork systems wade through water up to their waist! As we begin our journey through some of the biggest and most interesting construction projects completed by Hunnebeck Poland in the past 30 years, we head to the north of Poland, where we contributed to two projects: the Elbląg Canal banks fortification and the construction of Poland's longest swing bridge in Nowakowo! Both were part of a strategic investment connecting the Port of Elbląg and the Vistula Lagoon to the Gulf of Gdansk and the Baltic Sea 🌊. While working on the Elbląg Canal, our wall formwork supported erection of the reinforced concrete cap that crowns the steel sheet piling. The cap was constructed in 18-metre segments, and depending on the technology used, we supplied RASTO® or MANTO® formwork sets. Our engineers designed the solution such that the formwork ties passed over the water surface and the spacing of the panels did not interfere with the existing ground anchors. In this way, nearly 15 km of canal bank was reinforced. Although the swing 🌉 bridge at Nowakowo is made of steel, we designed and provided solutions for the five supports that now hold up the structure. Support P2, the main pivot point of the bridge, was erected using MANTO®, ID15new, TOPFLEX and PLATINUM® working platforms. We used our circular steel forms to erect the 3-metre high P1` and P3` supports. The edge protection was designed using the PROTECTO® system. The General Contractor for both projects was Budimex SA, whom we thank for their trust and months of cooperation under very demanding conditions. #moresafety #moreproductivity #Hünnebeck #AtWorkForYou
