The battery industry plays a crucial role in the transformation towards sustainable mobility and energy supply. The speed at which the industry, and in particular the performance of batteries, is developing is remarkable. Innovations in the product and process move the state-of-the-art forward at high speed. That said, we still see the need to develop methods, tools and solutions that support the transfer of these innovations into products that can be efficiently produced at scale. We want to ensure that the industry and our customer can significantly accelerated their product development cycles to developed new generations of battery cells. This is why we as Capgemini founded the technology cluster battery cell together with RWTH Aachen University PEM Motion and Fraunhofer-Einrichtung Forschungsfertigung Batteriezelle FFB to jointly define new paths to optimize battery cell development and production. In our first joint study our experts analyzed the impact of standardized procedures, early coupling of product and process, consistency and transparency of data as well as advanced simulation. Download the study and find out more here: https://bit.ly/3UKe3fT. A must read! Their is more to come and we are happy to discuss, further develop and collaborate with the entire battery ecosystem! Join our Live-Session @Hannover Messe: Battery Cell Technology Cluster 📣 Exciting news! I am thrilled to announce that I will be presenting a joint talk with Achim Kampker, Chair of Production Engineering of E-Mobility Components at RWTH Aachen and Marcus Fiege, Director CoE Battery at Capgemini Engineering Germany at Hannover Messe. 💡The Battery Cell Technology Cluster is a joint initiative by Fraunhofer-Einrichtung Forschungsfertigung Batteriezelle FFB, the Chair of PEM RWTH Aachen University, PEM Motion and Capgemini Capgemini Engineering. Its aim is to drive ecosystem innovations in the European battery industry with a specific focus to accelerate battery cell development based on consistent processes, end-to-end digital tools chains and simulation. Looking forward to the discussion where further deep-dive on specific solution approaches to reach this target. 📍 April 24th, 9:30am in Hall 15, Capgemini booth F52 – looking forward to seeing you there! 📺 If you’re not on-site you can watch the #livestream here: https://bit.ly/3wyqjXb #HM24 #HannoverMesse #IntelligentIndustry Jochen Bechtold Werner Ferreira da Silva Laurent BROMET Pierre Bagnon Florent Andrillon Dr.-Ing.
