Ecoworm Sapropel Extract is a highly concentrated organic liquid extracted from sapropel – incredibly nutrient-rich freshwater lake sediments. Extracting sapropel causes no harm to the environment as only organic sediments resulting from freshwater management are collected during the cleaning of the lake bottom.

Dosage & Application

Ecoworm Sapropel Extract is applied as a liquid spray or by watering can onto plant leaf surfaces or as a soil drench to re-apply all the beneficial micro-organisms and nutrients that the soil and plants require. Apply the extract during the main growing stages for immediate uptake and/or coat seeds at sowing for a greater strike rate.

Apply Ecoworm Sapropel Extract during the coldest part of the day, such as an early morning or late afternoon, so that UV rays do not affect the beneficial biology. When it is raining, the fertiliser can be applied at any time, as the micro-organisms will use this available moisture to colonise the plant and soil, while being protected from the UV rays.

Ecoworm Sapropel Extract is compatible with other organic fertilisers. It is environmentally friendly and does not contaminate water courses. It is highly recommended to use on depleted, saline, and eroded soils with damaged structures and soils treated with chemical fertilisers for a long period of time.

Fruit & Veg: 2 fluid ounces (50ml) extract/2.5 gallons water, feed every 10-14 days, per 21.5 square feet.

Fruit Trees: 4 fluid ounces (100ml) extract /2.5 gallons water, feed every 14-30 days, per 3 trees.

Shrubs: 2 fluid ounces (50ml) extract /2.5 gallons water, every 14 days, per 3 plants.

Flowers: 2 fluid ounces (50ml) extract/2.5 gallons water, every 14 days, per 21.5 square feet.

Lawn: 2 fluid ounces (50ml) extract/2.5 gallons water, every 30 days, per 32.3 square feet.

Seed inoculation: 0.5 fluid ounces (15ml) extract/1 pint water, 12 hours before planting.

Soil improvement: 1 fluid ounce (30ml) extract/2.5 gallons water per 21.5-32.3 square feet.
