The Last Remnant Remastered Trailer Shows PS4 vs Xbox 360 Graphics Comparisons

Recently Square Enix announced the release of The Last Remnant Remastered, but didn’t share much of the upcoming graphics revamp, except for the previous screenshots. They now share a new trailer that not only shows the upgraded graphics but a comparison to it’s original platform, the Xbox 360.

The trailer features some of the graphics that PS4 will bring to the game, renewing it’s overall look visually. The video features mainly the cutscenes and a brief look at actual gameplay in battle. The images are strikingly more vivid when set side-by-side to it’s original, getting an upgrade from Unreal Engine 3 to 4.

The Last Remnant was originally released in 2008 on the Xbox 360, exclusively to the the platform. It was a part of Microsoft’s vision to bring a selection of exclusive JRPGs to the platform in order to make their mark in the Japanese market. The title did then release in 2009 on PC and now the game finally comes to the Playstation. It was originally planned for a PS3 but never came to fruition.

Check out the graphics comparison trailer below:

The Last Remnant Remastered will be released exclusively for Playstation 4 worldwide on December 6th 2018 for £16/€20/$19.99.
