Why kriegsmesser isn't in game yet?

What says “medieval Germany” more than this work of art? This deadly and powerful weapon can come in onehanded and twohanded versions and will be a perfect fit for both Kruber and Saltzpyre alike, besides it’s not like there’s a lot of weapons left to choose from, eh?

The bretonnian longsword is wielded with both 1 and 2 hands by Kruber, this would be redundant. Could be a weapon skin tho.

I agree. They could be sword and greatsword illusions.

No the messer couldnt be a longsword or a greatsword skin . Both existing weapons are double-edged swords while the messer is strictly single-edged . So it should be a new weapon with different animations etc .

skins really aren’t that deep

Elf 2h sword has a curved blade skin and that weapon has a lunge in the moveset

This is not a ARPG game which you can flood with innumerable weapons.
The devs already use assets from one weapon for another, to cut back on development time, which makes balancing them also harder.

Yes, but this would have zero effect on the game and weapon usage.

I would like to add Zweihander to the list.

Correct If I’m wrong but I think Kruber already has a Zweihander, but its called a Greatsword and its smaller.

I’d imagine if it would be added, it would be a skin for the Greatsword. But yeah, I would love see them represent a Zweihander as a its own weapon in the game. Maybe a very slow weapon with high cleave and wide arcs.

Kruber has a longsword that looks a bit like a zweihander but isn’t quite a zweihander.
Zweihanders are greatswords with a very specific look; the “zweihander” used by Kruber is just a lite version that is similar but not quite cigar.

Honestly would love that as a longsword that actually fights the way a longsword should on WHC.

Salt’s current greatsword looks too cool for something so boring.
