- About the artist
Master Bernhuser was a German sculptur who primarily worked with bronze. He most probably was from Northern Germany. Bernhusers body of work is very varied, creating clocks, cannons, reliefs and statues. He is known to have been active as an artist between 1387 and 1401. He is best known for the bronze castings of his lion figures.
