Wartburg-Waverly Sports & Wellness Center
The 200,000 square-foot Wartburg-Waverly Sports and Wellness Center, commonly know as "The W,"Â opened in 2008 and is home to first-class facilities housing Knights athletic programs.Â
- Levick Arena is a state-of-the-art showcase seating nearly 1,800 fans for basketball, volleyball, and wrestling. The arena hosted NCAA Div. III tournament games for women’s basketball in three consecutive years, 2018-2020.
- The Walker Wrestling Room is the envy of many NCAA Division I schools and a magnificent home for the 14-time Division III champions.
- Hoover Fieldhouse and Track is the indoor home of the track and field teams and a practice and competition facility for tennis. It also handles practice dates for baseball, softball, and lacrosse during inclement weather.
- The Meyer Strength & Conditioning Annex is used exclusively by Wartburg College student-athletes. It features 17 multipurpose weight platforms outfitted with outfitted with EliteForm motion tracking system technology, and a variety of other equipment to develop powerful and explosive athletes.
- The facility is also home to the athletic training room. Unique features for Division III athletes include a Woodway Weightless treadmill, Jacuzzi-style cold tub, and in-house physical therapy.
- Other features: state-of-the-art fitness center with climbing wall, recreational swimming pool, sports arena, auxiliary gymnasium with jogging track, and a field house featuring a 200-meter indoor track and space for four basketball or tennis courts.
