@margaret_pl_at_kh_ so mein and meine are used for people depending on their gender, and meinen is used for things or people in plural?

@tmangupos The translation for "mein" and "meine" is my. If the noun where you want to say that it's yours, feminine (for example the cat = "die Katze") you use "meine" and if it's masculine (for example the dog = "der Hund") you use "mein". You use "meine" too, if the noun where you want to say that it's yours, is plural. (Example: Das sind meine Stifte. = That are my pencils)
Examples: Das ist meine Katze. (That's my cat) or Das ist mein Sti
Das ist mein Hund. (That's my dog).
You use "meinen" and "meiner" in a different context, but this is very hard and if your a beginner, I wouldn't recommend you that. (My English isn't perfect, so maybe there are some mistakes, but I hope you can understand me. If you want to, you can tell me my mistakes.)

@tmangupos Yes, you use it often, but I can't really explain that. I know, when to use it, but I don't really know why. So I can't tell you that exact grammatical theme...😂
