"Hochdeutsch" is generally considered the standard and is spoken in all schools, and thus every german native understands it.
Any dialect is hard to understand for german natives that are not accustomed to them. You can safely assume that a German from northern Germany will not be able to understand swiss German period.
That's basically what Hochdeutsch is for: it's a common ground for people to operate on, and thus there are zero issues when Germans from different regions, Swiss or Austrian people want to communicate with each other.

@Halala So it means that Low German speakers and High German speakers won't be able to understand/communicate with each other to a considerable degree right. Because I've been searching about the mutual intelligibility between them but some says that the speakers would still be able to understand each other while others who speak Low German say that they had hard time understanding High German.

First of all, "Hochdeutsch" is the German expression for "standard German". It used to be a dialect, but very different dialects were considered to be standard at certain points in time. It's also not clear where it originated from exactly, some people say from Hannover, but I personally do not know that.
Thus, you cas safely assume that any German native understands Hochdeutsch since it's the common basis.
