Zusammenfassung
Es entbehrt nicht einer gewissen Ironie, dass der Begriff „Derailment“, der für das unerwartete Scheitern von Führungskräften steht, in den letzten Jahrzehnten eine erstaunliche Karriere gemacht hat. Renommierte Autoren konstatieren mittlerweile eine Rate des Managerscheiterns von ca. 50 %.1 Die destruktiven Folgewirkungen von Manager-Inkompetenz (sad management), ethischen Verwerfungen (bad management) und wahnwitzigen Verfehlungen (mad management) haben im letzten Jahrzehnt neue Dimensionen erreicht.2 Sie können Unternehmen zerstören und ganze Weltwirtschaften erschüttern, wie die jüngste Geschichte zeigte.
