#Chatbots: Since OpenAI launched its #ChatGPT service, an intense debate has flared up as regards the advantages and disadvantages of such #AI-based technology. Of course, one should not simply rely on and believe everything chatbots put out as answers. But, these #algorithms learn fast. It is all about #training. And, services building on #artificialintelligence will come under legal #regulation. Already in 2021, the European Commission tabled a proposal for an AI Regulation (SWD(2021) 84 final). In December 2022, the #European #Council adopted its common position on the draft bill. Thus, we will see legislative guidence coming through. The core aspects to look at are, inter alia, #reliability, avoidance of #undue #influence, the need for deploying #human #control at a certain stage, #detecting of work product generated by AI, and #liability issues.
