Acme Fresh Market

After 30+ years as a faithful customer I have made the decision to discontinue spending my money at this store.

I have heard the manager being sooo disrespectful to a very elderly couple that they left the store. They NEVER have enough lines open. If you want cash back you HAVE to go through an open cashier. They no longer offer cash back at selfseve because "its too hard to fill bills".

If you expect good customer care shop Giant Eagle at the plaza. I'll see you there.

This store doesn't ever have the product listed. It's so comical my wife has to ask which acme I went to when I come home with what I went for. This has been a constant headache for years now. Just this store. Ad comes out....no product. Again this has been for years now. So, your one store has me guessing if I want to be a customer at any of your stores. Sure the store looks good. Cashiers are nice.....none of that matters if you dont have product. I dont shop to look at your pretty store. The amount of money I have spent on gas running between two stores is enough to give up on acme. It's a shame, acme used to be a great store. So much for that.

Came here before I left the Akron area. I wanted to get some road snacks before I left. Honestly, it's a great location. Associates here are friendly, tons of healthy options, I'm not a fan of the self check out since it's not really too compliant, especially since I barely come here and live out of state. The lighted sign is really awesome upon entering! Easy parking. Overall average location.

This is the worst Acme in the Akron metro. The only good thing is that there is plenty of parking.

First, it is pretty dirty inside. I could see dust on some shelves and stuff on the floor.

Second, it is oddly organized. It will take a bit of time finding everything you need.

Third, it is more crammed than a Walmart.

Forth, the staff. Not friendly and not helpful. No one saying really anything at checkout and no one really around the store with even a half-smile. One on occasion I went to the store with an advertisement that a nearby Acme had a deal on a particular product. Not only would the store manager not honor it, she was extremely rude about it. I could have settled on the 'no' answer but felt bitter that the person clearly was bothered and upset by me asking.

Honestly, go to a different Acme or another store. This one is worth avoiding.

I rarely call people out on Yelp. But today I had the most unfriendly checker in the history of checkers. Look I get it. It's a ridiculous time and people are going insane. Perhaps humanity is to blame, but certainly not me personally. She didn't greet me at all and in fact she did not one time even look at me while ringing up my items. She couldn't have looked more disinterested in me and hated the fact that she had no choice than to deal with me at all. She handed me my receipt and with a cursory glance said "have a nice day" in the most insincere voice. At least the bagger said it like he meant it. So Sismani? Sismanu? Can't even remember but it was unique name, try a smile. Try pretending like you care about our business, at least a little bit

I almost did not try this store because the only review about it is very negative. I found the store to be very clean, stocked well, and staffed by friendly and helpful personnel. I have shopped at Market District for years in a nearby town because there was no other option. I tried Market District several times in Cuyahoga Falls and was very disappointed. I am glad to have found Acme.
