I don't have much context here but this sculpture depicts two men, one extremely thin and one extremely fat. Or they are a model of different generations, one from the older "war generation" and the other from the young generation of the 1960's. They appear to be having an animated conversation/argument.
Apparently, this has something to do with a joke that I didn't find particularly funny.
