Service
I would like to compliment our server, Summer. We were a party of 9, and Summer attended to our culinary needs in great fashion. There were a few issues with the food, but Summer took care of everything for a positive dinning experience.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Charlie J.Pompano Beach, FL011Mar 18, 2024
This is the best kept secret in Orlando. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Visit Payton st the bar. Monday is 1/2 price on wine. Can't be beat.

We came here for my bday and I absolutely loved the food. It was super tasty and cooked to perfection. I love the way the wood fired grill makes everything so soft and tender.
We had Nina as a waitress and she brought the cutest cheesecake without us even having to ask and I was super grateful for the gesture. It tasted delicious and was the perfect touch after the meal.
I also loved the location of the restaurant and how easy it was to get to other places afterward. Definitely going back soon!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 462031137Apr 1, 2024
We had great service at Firebirds for dinner on a Friday evening. The food, not as great. We made a 6pm reservation but it wasn't necessary because they weren't on a wait. We were sat and greeted quickly by our server.
She was informative and suggested some menu items. I was looking to get an alcohol free mixed drink and ordered the blood orange tamed mule (advertised on the menu) but they were out of one of the ingredients, so just a Diet Coke for me! For dinner, I got the filet with a loaded baked potato and added a Caesar salad. The salad was underwhelming - the dressing had virtually no flavor and I found myself reaching for the salt and pepper multiple times. I always get a Caesar salad when dining out at restaurants if they offer it and my recommendation would be to skip this one.
The filet was cooked perfectly temperature-wise (M) but lacked any flavor as well. A steak should be able to stand alone with its seasoning and this one missed the mark. If I'd known it would lack any flavor, I would have added a topping. My hubby got the Bleu cheese topping on his filet and thus, had much more flavor.
If I was rating just based on service, I would give 5 stars but my beverage of choice wasn't available and my salad & steak lacked any flavor.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Business owner information

Great food, service and love the ambiance!
Had the Canjun Ribeye. The sauce is a buttery canjun seasoned spread. I think this paired with the mushroom was perfect!
I elected to enjoy this meal with a club soda vodka.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Apr 16, 2024Updated review
Cocktails were all good especially the house cocktail! The lobster fondue salmon was outstanding, and au gratin potatoes were fab! Taking off one star for the salmon dish that was not very flavorful and unseasoned, kind of bland, and the prime rib that was good but not very tender, I've had better. The chicken nachos app needed to have more chips and better chicken, and the mashed potatoes were boring! Service was very good and loved the ambiance here, has a great vibe. May be back again sometime.

Feb 28, 2023Previous reviewBest crab cakes EVER!!!!!! The mushrooms were divine! The slaw that came with the crab cakes was really yummy too! Great service! Nice ambiance. The cr'em brûlée cheesecake was so light, not heavy like traditional cheesecake. The lemon cake was very tasty too. We will be back!

Great happy hour at the bar with food! Enjoyed the shrimp, burgers, steak tacos! The kids menu had a great variety of choices. Our little one had the salmon with mixed veggies and fruit cup which she loved! Definitely come before 7pm to enjoy the happy hour. Monday is half off bottles. Great service and atmosphere that allows kids and a good meal!

My wife got an email about this place and saw they offered a three course dinner special, so we decided to give the place a try.
First off, the place is impressive... looks smaller on the outside, but big on the inside... LOL. We asked for a table, but they have booths and half booth half tables too. Our server greeted us quickly and helped navigate the menu. We had lots of questions and he had the answers.
If you go with the three course meal, you have a meat, poultry or seafood selection for the main course.
For starters, you can get a soup or salad with options to choose from. My wife had the chicken tortilla soup and she really loved it. She loved the flavor of the soup and couldn't even eat it all because it is a very big portion. I chose a Caesar salad because I love this type of salad and it did not disappoint. The dressing was not too heavy and just right and it had a lot of cheese and croutons. They also offer you Table bread, which is a very good portion for about 3 to 4 people - was nice and hot.
My wife and son chose the sirloin plate which came with Parmesan garlic mashed potatoes, and green beans. They love their plates, but my wife's meat was a little bit too cooked for her because she asked for medium and it seems a little bit overcooked for her so she traded with our son for his sirloin and he was fine.
I chose the fire grilled salmon with shrimp on the bed of pilaf and also a side of the green beans. The sauce they used on top of the shrimp and the salmon was delicious and the salmon was fire grilled so I loved the crispy outside. It really brought out the flavor of the salmon. The shrimp were also good doused in the sauce, if you don't want a lot of sauce, you might have to ask for it on the side or lighter portion. The green beans are also Woodfire grilled, and I did like them, however, I would've liked them a little bit more cooked and my wife said that they did have a little bit of the fuel-y flavor.
For dessert, my wife wanted the chocolate brownie undae, however, they apologize because they were out of it and she was a little sad. She had to end up getting the cheesecake which she did not really like because she said it was too "no-bake" cheesecake flavored for her. She took only two bites of it.
I ordered the seasonal bread pudding and it was delicious. It came super hot, almost burnt the top of my mouth, but that was my fault because I wanted to put one of the pieces in there. It comes with some kind of chocolate or fudge sauce, you're supposed to pour on top of it, and it will melt because the pudding is so hot. The ice cream melted real quick, so I suggest you asked for a spoon because they only give you a fork.
We had a wonderful dinner and a wonderful night. We are definitely coming back to try other options.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 5Oh no 0 - Mar 22, 20241 check-in
I have previously been to the Firebirds restaurant in Hoover, Alabama, and Jacksonville so when I saw this one near the museum and gardens I was going to, I figured I would give it a try. It did not disappoint. The ambiance was lovely, especially sitting at the beautiful bar. I opted for one of my favorite salads, the grilled tenderloin steak salad. It contained a generous portion of perfectly cooked and thinly sliced steak, as well as blue cheese crumbles, tomatoes, and various types of lettuce. It was served in a large shallow salad bowl, and accompanied by balsamic vinaigrette dressing. Perfection. Service was also great.

This was my first time at this place it was recommended so I decided to try it out.
Food: The food was okay. We got lobster spinach queso, filet mignon, Wood Grilled NY Strip and BLT Salad. The lobster spinach queso I give it 3 stars it was okay some of the chips were a bit stale. The filet mignon was good and tender 4 stars, the NY strip was good I got the tater tots for my side since they didn't have Au gratin which I was looking for, the tots were super over cooked definitely not fresh because they were hard as a rock, I didn't even them. The BLT salad was normal. I definitely was expecting more from the food.
Ambiance: Well, there wasn't much going on, not busy at all. Definitely a layback restaurant, nothing fancy about it. I noticed there was a lot of large groups having dinner.
Service: Well, we never got our bread for our table. And the service overall was good.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
