I recently attended a really nice wedding reception at Paremsans Station. All of the food was really good, the space was neat, and the service was sharp and friendly. All that stuff is true and I'm sorry to gloss over it. BUT, the #1 impression that I took away was their pizza--it was absolutely outstanding. Really really really really good. It's similar to neapolitan style, with a puffed-up, slightly chewy outside edge and thin floor about midway on the dry/crisp to moist/floppy continuum. Light on sauce, heavy on cheese.
The best aspect was the frequency of pizza replenishment. I, uh, happened to be standing near the food area for a good chunk of the night, and they kept shovelling new pizzas in and out of the oven every few minutes. Out of the oven, onto a plate, and onto the counter like a well oiled machine. Or, more like the distribution of largesse from a beneficent lord. They must have put out a hundred pies over the course of the evening. I probably ate at least an entire one myself, if not one and a half.
So, I guess that the lesson is...book Paremsans Station if your party guests like really good pizza. Or, if you are a guest, before declining an invitation to an event held here, find out whether pizza is included in the catering package, and then think twice.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - Hillary L.Homewood, IL598574Oct 9, 2018
Delicious food at great prices!! They have awesome gluten free options too!
I love their attentive employees & they usually are pretty quick with your orders too!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Amanda P.Los Angeles, CA1591Jun 25, 2019
HORRIBLE! Placed an order on Grubhub, order accepted, they were working on the order and then nothing! They closed without delivering our order! Now I have to wait 5 business days for my refund. Don't waste your money here.

We recently had our wedding ceremony and reception at parmesans station with a total of 125 guests.
I cant say enough good things about our experience. Chef Michael, manager Eric and the entire staff went above and beyond for our day to be everything we wanted. Leading up to the event, both Michael and Eric were responsive to emails and assisted me in planning, including helping to find our DJ and hotel in the area.
The venue itself is so incredibly fun, on any normal day it is a metra train station, but when they're in party mode its gorgeous - I barely had to do any decor work.
My biggest regret was being too busy socializing that I didn't eat any of the delicious food during the cocktail hour - which my guests all tell me was amazing and they barely had room for dinner. I then skipped all of the delicious desserts because I was too busy dancing - again, I have guests telling me I missed out, which I believe.
We will happily return for dinner in the future and I recommend this place for any party or event.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Alison W.South Side, Chicago, IL08Aug 4, 2019
My mom and I went here for lunch today. It was frankly awful. My mom ordered the GF Alfredo pasta with shrimp ($21). The sauce tasted bland, like something out of a jar. The shrimp were obviously frozen (some were still ice cold).
I made the mistake of ordering the lobster bisque, caprese salad, and the side of meatballs. The bisque was like a salt lick -- with tiny chopped pieces of the same frozen shrimp my moms dish had. The Caprese salad was thin sliced tomatoes that looked more like the garnish on a cheap burger. No seasoning. Literally just hamburger garnish tomatoes with tiny pearls of mozzarella and the same side of pesto they serve with their bread.
The side of meatballs was even bad! While the red sauce was tasty, the meatballs were both simultaneously undercooked and over cooked. The bottom of one was rock hard like it was reheated too many times. Bleh!
To top it all off, there was a private party going on so our poor waitress was trying to do about 10 things at once. Despite her best efforts it still took us nearly an hour to even get this inedible food.
We paid over $50 for lunch for 2 to enjoy this horrendous dining experience. After we paid, I brought it to the manager's attention that the food was such poor quality. I pointed to our table so he could see we barely touched our food. Honestly, it seemed like he could not have cared less. Lesson learned, albeit a pricey one!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Ronald S.Tinley Park, IL074Jan 11, 2020
Leaving an FYI review here. They no longer have an open kitchen for food, they do banquets only. Had 9 hungry construction workers working across the street from here and was going to buy everyone pizza, went online to get the number and nowhere did it say that they only offered banquets now. Head over to beggars or barracos if you are going to be trying to get yours guys some pizza when you're working in this area.

I just threw an anniversary party here and everything turned out great, the venue is so beautiful and I received so many compliments from everyone. The waitress were fantastic, very attentive nice girls. The owner is so friendly and Eric was easy to work with. Food turned out good and the cake was delicious. My only complaints were they forgot to give the vegetarian dish I ordered to the vegetarian at the party, the sirloin was a bit cold and they would only allow our music to go so loud and we could barely hear it. I would recommend this venue and was happy with the way it turned out.

Well, we wanted to try something new and different.
We started off with some complimentary rolls with a pesto..very good.
Then we tried the minestrone soup. Now, they do something different to theirs.. I can't seem to put my finger on it. I think they add the grated parmesan to it before they serve it.
For our meals, he went with the spaghetti with meat sauce, and a side of Italian zazeech. Good flavor on the meat sauce, and a nice kick on the sausage.
Unfortunately, I ordered the eggplant parmesan, and the penne carbonara.
While the penne was good, the eggplant was far from edible. It was soggy, cut way too thin, and it was bland.
I sent the eggplant back, and the server apologized, and she asked me if I wanted a replacement, so I got the veal parmesan to go...
And the veal was just as bland.. not enough sauce on any of it.
As full as we were , we had dessert.
I tried a chocolate covered cannoli..
AWESOME.
Best cannoli I've ever had.
A shame it was not worth $55.
we won't be back.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Larry P.Mokena, IL3314Jul 16, 2017
I am very disappointed by visit to this location. The server was very nice, the food not so much. We ordered the a kids meal for my son. The pizza was extremely old. It's like the took it out of the frig and forgot to warm it up. The cupcake dessert was so cold he did not like it. Very dry. The vodka pasta was decent. The raviolis were not cooked and disgusting. Solid slabs of cheese in sheet pasta.
This place is called Parmesan Station , but it's a train wreck. Never ever going back. I feel sorry for the wedding they were set up to host.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
