Honestly, for a local neighborhood spot, it's actually pretty decent. I'm really not sure why it has such poor overall ratings. Sure, it's not HEB, but that's okay. For its size (which isn't too small, by the way), it's got a good sampling of almost everything you'd need. It has an acceptable-sized deli, meat section, fruit/veg section, alcohol, and everything in between. Can't complain about the service either. The employees here have always been respectful and polite. I shop here quite frequently actually. Overall I definitely recommend, especially if you live nearby, like I do.

This is the place for chicken on Monday... They have it all roasted, fried, or roated habanero... It's freshly made in the deli and well seasoned... It runs out, so you definitely want to make it before 6:30....

I just wanted a money order. There's no one at the Customer service booth and no sign of when they will return. Me and a man patiently wait. I ask a cashier. They cut me off before I can ask and say "I don't know when they'll be back". So I say "is it like a time frame or since you're not doing anything can you come help us?" They say "No, I don't know when they'll be back." Rolls their eyes and continues to do nothing.
The woman shows up after 5 minutes of waiting. I have Discover. On the machine it says credit or debit. I accidentally clicked credit. The lady says "we don't do discover credit". I say I have a debit card and can I try again. She says "We don't do Discover!". I'm like ok and leave. I come back and try again later in the day because my gut is telling me she is wrong. There's another lady working the booth there. I do the money order with my Discover debit and it goes through. I knew I was right.
There are long lines and each cashier acts annoyed that you're asking them a question. I've never The store is congested and the layout doesn't make any sense.
I wish this was an HEB instead. I'd even take a Walmart because at least it has more options. This store looks big on the outside but is very tiny in the inside.
All in all, it's great for convenience but it's only good for convenience, because it's the only neighborhood store which isn't saying much, and the customer service is nonexistent.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

My first time here and I observed the butcher placing meat in packages without gloves on. When I placed my order I think he saw me watching him to make sure he put gloves on before he placed my raw items in the bag. I'm so tempted to call the health department. That is utterly disgusting

No words to express or explain. Everything is well stocked. The food is freshly baked. The environment felt like you are walking first class.

Ordered some groceries to be delivered to my home. Their app would not let me edit my order, so I personally called and told them to add some fruit. For some odd reason they did not do what I asked them to do; & I ended up paying $20 more because of their mistake(my order would have minus 20 for 100 spending). Had the food delivered, because I hate having to deal with the homeless losers that are around or in their store. Guess I will listen to my girlfriend and start shopping some where else.

I love the people here and I mean that with all my heart. The butchers are amazing and the service staff are impeccable but I feel like this store gets the step child treatment because of the area and numerous homeless people in the area. It's like have you ever frequented a business and you spend your time trying to be nice to the staff and they don't really care because they feel like you need them. Well sometimes I feel like that here and the bad part is so many of the staff here go above and beyond to give you an amazing experience. Isn't it sad when some woke so hard while other don't really care?

I've been coming here for years because it's close to home. After enough interactions with them, I have to say that the people who work at the ready-made foods counter are so unfriendly. And it really is everyone who works at that counter, making me think it's in the culture of the department.

Lady working the self checkout line was very rude to a customer saying she has to hurry because she has to go home. Rude customer service. I am a server and if somebody comes in last minute we help them no matter what. My boyfriend wanted to say something but we just preferred not to. Get better employees. Every time we come here they are worried about closing a whole hour before and announce it every 5 minutes.

The best part of coming to this Randall's was The Cashier known as Amari. Super beautiful, very funny, quick and efficient, very helpful. Single handed Lu made my shopping experience and day that much better.
