Restaurant Zum Englischen Reiter

Visited this place 1st of May (a sunday). The place was packed and service was a little slow. However the waiters were very nice and friendly. They have 2 outside areas (for smokers) and tables indoors. We didn't mind the smokers and tables are not that close anyways. The pork nuckle was huge. We ordered 1 for 2 (19 euros) and a side of french fries (3 euros). We ate half and took the other half with us. The food was really good quality and the pork was really well done. The meat almost slided from the bone... all in all good price. Almost all dishes are around 10 euros (they have usual Austrian food) and dishes we saw (schnitzel and desserts were also very big). We paid credit card and the waiter asked us for a tip... that wasn't so pleasant... however we would come back

I've never written anything other than a positive review but the service in this place warrants nothing more than the facts. Nice warm place with great food, but the waiter would be well served being introduced to soap. BO is not something you want to experience in the service industry, especially in a restaurant. Unfortunately his attitude matched his odor - both stank. Otherwise a nice place for a quick bite.

I have visited this resturant placed in Prater,on August. I have got eat good. The service is ok, maybe fast, but it's ok. I have ordered one chicken's wings, another one plate that i don't remember the name, two beer large and one small, and one dessert. I think that the bill (39€) was a little high, but finally is ok. I advice this resturant.
