Willkommen

The space is very open and full of light. Seating is plentiful with an extended bar top and lots of tables for 8 that can be communal during higher times.
They have a pretty good variety of beers on rotation. Tried the Hefeweizen and a cider, both were very good and drinkable (4/5). For food we opted for pretzel sticks (3.5/5). Would have preferred a Bavarian knot but the pretzels were good and the beer cheese sauce was tasty. We also got two sausage plates- one SF style (5/5) and one Bavarian with red cabbage and German potato salad (5/5). The SF was amazing! I could have eaten another one with the tasty cheese and onions. I wish I would have upgraded to fries instead of chips though, or asked if it was an option as I saw fries with another platter nearby. We had three different sausages and all were very good.
This seems like a great spot with lots of event taking place throughout the week. If we were locals, I'm sure this would become a frequent stop.

I love how you can get your Wurst multiple different ways. We tried the Bavarian plate and the SF style. I was tempted by the nachos, but decided against it. The potato salad on the Bavarian plate stole the show. It's so simple but so good.

You order at the counter or find a spot to sit and order using QR code. Once your food is ready, the bring it to your table. The dining area is made up of long tables with benches so great for a large group.

Every place has an off night. I just happened to hit that night. Trouble started when ordering. They were out of every item we asked for. It took awhile to put together a meal, as each time we made a request including beer was out, this was 7:15 on a Thursday night.

When our hobbled together meal showed up, it included some very overcooked, mushy red cabbage and dry but over cheesy/greasy spaetze.

Noise level and horrible acoustics had us finished what we could and out of the truly charming dinning room very quickly.

Willkommen is a casual German beer garden with a menu of sausages and other German-inspired fare. The Arugula Salad was a simple mixture of arugula, strawberries, goat cheese, and almonds, along with a sour green dressing. The Bavarian Plate came with braised red cabbage and a warm potato salad flavored with bacon. For our sausage selection, the Red Hot Brat was a super spicy pork and beef red pepper bratwurst; and the Beyond Brat was a vegetarian pea and fava bean sausage, which I thought was even better than the meat. In general, the food here was rather simple and of average quality--the red-skinned potatoes in the potato salad were slightly undercooked, the Red Hot Brat was super spicy without being flavorful, and the Beyond Brat was burnt on the outside. The best part about Willkommen was the fun, casual atmosphere (there were even activities like foosball and board games), but the food left something to be desired.

Willkommen is a German restaurant that serves wursts and beers, located in Duboce Triangle. It has both indoor and outdoor seating. They offer a wide selection of beers on tap, and really good sausages.

I got the SF style which came with relish and cheese - it is very cheesy, but the relish added a good touch. The SF style also came with barbecue chips on the side - overall this dish was pretty filling and satisfying.

The service was generally pretty good - we were served our drinks and dishes pretty quickly. However they did mix up our drinks once - and my friend had ordered the Berliner but ended up getting the curry wurst.

Overall this restaurant is great - the mix up may have been a one time incident, and the food was very tasty, so I will definitely be visiting again!

I've walked past here countless times, and finally decided to give it a try. This place is great for people watching and has a nice comfy vive to it. You can order using a QR code, where a server will bring drinks/food out to you, and you can pay using the QR code as well.
They have a good variety of beers and all the ones I tried were good. I also had one of the spicy brats and it definitely had a kick to it. The chips were also good, and overall the prices are reasonable for SF. Definitely a good option for a more casual meal/drink!

I walked past this spot and immediately put it on my list to visit.
One week later I got my wish!
The ambiance is incredible, with welcoming colors and fun music.
We opted for a mixture of apps, including the waffle fries, Brussels sprouts and pretzel sticks.
Everything was delicious and held surprising flavor bursts that your average fries and sprouts don't have.
I wish I was hungrier so I could have tried more menu items but that's a great excuse to go back.

Really interesting restaurant and creative interior! This is a brewery and restaurant in one. I ordered the burger and stayed for a drink. The employee that took my order was an older woman and wasn't exactly friendly or welcoming. The food was good and the restaurant had numerous games to play. Overall great place but workers can do a better job in regard to customer service.

A dog friendly indoor beer garden (yes dogs allowed inside). Friendly and helpful service where they allow you to taste before you buy. Beautiful decor with communal tables too.

Self-service on tap water, board games and sinks outside the toilets are nice amenities.

Oh yes, the beer and bratwursts are great too. They have a nice x-section on beer, from pils to IPA to wine. German-style food choices compliments their beer nicely.

With the communal tables - we have enjoyed coming here with just 2 people to meeting here with a big group.

We will return!

Love this place. Thank you for bringing back the chicken sausages! They are fantastic and go so damn well with your delicious brews. You space is lovely and bright and the service is always friendly and happy to help.
